Home on the horizon

“I wanna go home.” Me too baby. A high fever spike late last night landed us in the hospital for a handful of hours as we had to follow fever protocol😴, but it’s likely treatment related and she’s feeling better today (besides a few other minor treatment side effects
Such as neuropathy in her fingers, a dry cough that has been linked to the 3F8, and some soreness/redness at sight of GM injections in her little arms). We tried to take it easy on this cold and rainy NYC day today after her injection. Hoping her temperature remains normal so we can stay cuddled up here and not need to go back in to the hospital.

Tomorrow is last 3F8 antibody infusion for this round. Team feels like she should be cleared to go home late day Monday🤞And although we are slotted to start round 2 during week of Halloween...I advocated for us to postpone for one week just so we could do all of our fun Halloween traditions all together at home sweet home. They just approved my request so although I hate to delay for non medical reasons and the organizations here have so much fun planned for the kids over Halloween, I just know in my heart that home is really where she’ll want to be. This is hard. There’s no place like home.
